HF receiver type R-326
USSR type R-326 is a self-contained HF intercept or monitoring receiver developed in the late 1950s. It replaced the R-311.
The receiver was used either as a man-pack or man-portable, but was also fitted in vehicles.
- Frequency coverage is 1-20 MHz in six ranges.
- Reception of AM R/T and CW signals.
- Continuously variable bandwidth control is fitted.
- Miniature 'pencil' type valves are used.
- Different intermediate frequencies are used, depending the frequency band.
- HT is obtained by an internal transistor invertor unit
- The receiver is powered by two 1.2V NiCad batteries fitted in a compartment at the back of the set.
- As an alternative, a mains powered unit is provided, delivering 2.4V DC.
