The USSR R-147 is a very small short range VHF FM transceiver. It was used as a manpack set for Platoon communications.

The external battery comprises two standard 4.5 V flashlight batteries and was primarily used to be carried on the body to keep them warm under extreme low temperatures. The long range tape aerial is connected to the terminal on top of the control unit.
