USSR HF transceiver type 9-RS

The USSR 9-RS was a HF transceiver primarily for fitting into T34 and T44 tanks, and in other AFVs such as light and medium Self Propelled guns. The set comprises a receiver and transmitter, mounted together as a single unit.

• Frequency coverage 3.9 - 6 MHz (Channel 156 to 240)
• Operation modes AM R/T and CW
• Receiver unit type RSI-4T is mounted on top of chassis
• A small hinged cover protects transmitter controls
• Rotary transformer is mounted on the transmitter chassis
• Production started late World War 2
