The Ra 190 was principally used by Special Forces (Paras) of the Swedish Army for communication to Base. The set bears a slight resemblance to the British Mk.128 but the circuit design of the Ra190 is quite different having, for example, a wider frequency coverage. Radiostation 190 is comprised of a separate receiver and transmitter unit, an accessories bag and battery belt. A fixed cable and plug on the transmitter connects the receiver; the batteries are connected directly from the belt to the transmitter unit.
